The Star Wars Clone Trooper Voice Changer Helmet is the perfect gift for any young Star Wars fan. While it may look a little bit like the Stigs helmet from BBC televisions Top Gear to us adults, to a child this is one of the coolest futuristic looking pieces of head gear imaginable. There are 3 standard AA batteries already installed in the helmet which will power the speech features. As you would expect, the Star Wars Clone Trooper Voice Changer Helmet pays all the attention to detail a Clone Trooper demands including a dark tinted visor and the crest on top. There are 3 buttons on the right-hand side which say 5 different Clone Wars phrases you'll recognize from the television show. Another button produces a white noise style radio static - great fun! However the best feature (for me anyway) is the speech modulator. Speak any word or phrase in to the built-in microphone and your voice will be magically altered to sound like a really cool Clone voice. So who will buy the Star Wars Clone Trooper Voice Changer Helmet? Well don't just think kids. This is going to be just as popular with adults and I can see Star Wars collectors loving this. It's very well constructed with good quality materials and as well as being a great toy would be equally perfect as part of a fancy dress outfit at the office Christmas party. Even though the visor is quite dark, you can see really well through it as long as you've made the correct adjustments to the helmet and it fits on your head just right. Very small children may find that their mouth is a little bit too far away from the microphone so in order to "talk like a Clone", they may have to lift the helmet up a little to reach the mic. This won't spoil the enjoyment though so don't let it be an issue. Anyway, the adults will be playing with this more than the kids I reckon! All in all, this is the ideal Christmas gift and it's little wonder that this has become one of the most popular prezzies Santa's gonna be bringing down chimneys this Christmas.
